Is the Paper Resume Dead?

I was recently approached by a client who was interested in my professional resume writing service and halfway through our conversation, they asked me an interesting question – “Is the paper resume dead?”

While online resumes can sometimes be prone to problems like online glitches, paper resumes are seamlessly easy to manage and read. A paper resume makes things simpler for the potential employer – which can greatly increase your chances of success.

Your online resume may often be the first point of contact with a potential employer (and it, too, needs to be expertly presented and detailed), but it is your paper resume – coupled with your experience and your interviewing skills – that will ultimately land you that dream job.
